The Numedic Travelling Irrigator with its patented cam technology enables very low and easily controlled application of dairy effluent to be applied to meet current and emerging environmental legislation.

Numedic travelling irrigators now have a better spread pattern than other travelling irrigators or multiple pod type irrigation systems on the market.

Conventional rotary travelling irrigators with two booms of the same length tend to throw more effluent to the outer edges of the spread resulting in an uneven spread pattern.

By re-designing this Irrigator to have one long boom and one short boom, this Irrigator can achieve an even spread pattern.

A counterweight is fitted to the shorter boom to compensate for the weight difference between the two booms. The shorter boom spreads the effluent closer to the centre of the spread pattern and provides an even and low application depth throughout the irrigated area.
